The Open Education Global Conference is where the world meets to discuss how opening education helps us achieve universal access, equity, innovation and opportunity in education. The OE Global conference is the most internationally diverse conference devoted exclusively to open education, attracting researchers, practitioners, policy makers, educators and students from more than 35 countries to discuss and explore how Open Education advances educational practices around the world.

The operators invite the participants to hearing about what’s going on around the world, sharing experiences and ideas and helping to realize the open future of education. Also, the Open Education Awards for Excellence will be presented during the conference. These awards recognize distinctive open education projects, technological innovations, notable MOOCs and open courses, and exemplary leaders in Open Education worldwide. Thus, the event organizers encourage to participating in the awards process by nominating favorite people, projects and ideas.

Preceding the OE Global Conference, TU Delft hosts a pre-conference on Monday 23 April. During the pre-conference TU Delft will share its involvement in Open & Online Education and introduce the attendees to some of the exciting projects TU Delft has to offer. There is no cost to this event, but participation is limited to the first 80 people who register. An early registration is suggested.
