13. Open Educational Research Conference (OER22)
Dieses Jahr findet die 13. Open Educational Research Conference (OER22) vom 26. bis 28. April statt. Ausgerichtet wird die hybride Konferenz von der Association of Learning Technology (ALT) in Kooperation mit dem Global OER Graduate Network (GO-GN). Geplant ist eine hybride Veranstaltung, die sowohl online als auch in London stattfindet. Thematischer Fokus ist der Wert sowie die Grenzen von Open Education in einer (post)pandemischen Welt.

The Conference Themes
The conference will put the spotlight on both the value and limitations of Open Education in a (post)pandemic world.
- Theme 1: Pedagogy in a time of crisis - what does an ‘open’ response look like?
- Theme 2: Open textbooks: making the most of their potential;
- Theme 3: Open in Action: open teaching, educational practices and resources;
- Theme 4: Open research; scholarship or research around any aspect of open education;
- Theme 5: Wildcard proposals that demonstrate fun and creative practice in relation to openness are very welcome.
The Co-Chair Team
The Association for Learning Technology (ALT) is the leading professional body for Learning Technology in the UK. ALT supports a collaborative community for individuals and organisations from all sectors including Further and Higher Education and industry and provide professional recognition and development. Membership is open to all with a professional interest in using digital technologies for learning, teaching and assessment.
The Global OER Graduate Network (GO-GN) is a network of PhD and EdD candidates around the world whose research projects include a focus on open education (i.e. OER, OEP, MOOC). These doctoral researchers are at the core of the network; around them, over two hundred experts, supervisors, mentors and interested parties connect to form a community of practice.
GO-GN aims to raise the profile of research into open education and offers support for its members and alumni. The network also promotes equity and inclusion in the field of open education research and aims to develop openness as a process of research. The GO-GN team, who are based at the Institute of Educational Technology (IET) at The Open University (UK), are: Rob Farrow, Francisco (Paco) Iniesto, Kylie Matthews, Beck Pitt and Martin Weller.
Dates
OER22 will be a hybrid event. The Conference Committee is planning to hold the conference in the following format:
Day 1, 26 April 2022: In person in London, UK, with the sessions live streamed / recorded for online participants.
Day 2, 27 April 2022: Online programme, with recorded and community session
Day 3, 28 April 2022: Online programme, with live and community sessions
