Call for Contributions: PLE Conference

“Personal Learning Environments (PLE) include the tools,communities, and services that constitute the individual educationalplatforms learners use to direct their own learning and pursueeducational goals. The idea of the PLE represents a shift away from themodel in which students consume information through independentchannels such as the library, a textbook, or an LMS, moving instead toa model where students draw connections from a growing matrix ofresources that they select and organize.”

Für die PLE (Personal Learning Environment) Conference in Barcelona am8. und 9. Juli 2010wird sowohl zum Einreichen von Papers aufgerufen, als auch von Ideen für andere Veranstaltungsformen als dem traditionellen Paper strand, wie Workshops, Postern und Diskussionen. Durch eine möglichst breite Bandbreite an Veranstaltungsformen soll die Konferenz Raum zum Austausch von Ideen, Erfahrungen und Forschungsergebnissen zur Entwicklung und Implementierung von PLEs geben. 

Neben den Face-to-Face Sitzungen wird es verschiedene Online-Spaces zu der Veranstaltung geben.
