Mit dem in drei Kategorien vergebenen Preis der Association for Learning Technology (ALT) sollen exzellente Forschung und Praxis sowie herausragende Leistungen im Bereich Learning Technology honoriert werden.
The ALT Learning Technologist of the Year Awards celebrate and reward excellent research and practice and outstanding achievement in Learning Technology. Established in 2007, the Awards have established a benchmark for outstanding achievement in Learning Technology on a national scale and attract competitive entries from the UK and internationally. All entries are reviewed by an independent judging panel chaired by the President of ALT.
Due to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic, the awards have now been rescheduled for later in 2020. The awards will now take place as part of the Online Winter Conference 2020, on 26 November. Entries for the Awards are now open until 2 September 2020.
The following categories will be awarded:
- Learning Technologist of the Year (individual)
- Learning Technologist of the Year (team)
- Learning Technology Research Project of the Year
The Awards will be presented online, during the Online Winter Conference on Thursday 26 November 2020. As with previous years short-listed entries will be eligible to be voted on as part of the Community Choice Award. Finalists (up to two for teams) will be invited to attend the ceremony virtually to receive their Awards.
The awards are free to enter and are open to individuals and teams based anywhere in the world. For further information please visit the ALT website. If you'd like to see what it takes to win, have a look at the entries from last year's finalists.
